St. Nick’s Kids, Inc. will do more than fulfill standard requirements. We will go above and beyond in providing services to the birth families, prospective adoptive parents (PAPs), and the children.

Home Studies that do more than investigate and evaluate the PAPs, all household members and children in the home. The Home Study will prepare PAPs for a variety of different possibilities that they will face during the life long adoption process. Additionally, the Agency will provide educational material, workshops and resources for adopting  families.  We want to ensure that our families are well prepared for this incredible journey.

Child Studies are more comprehensive than one form. Whenever possible, the Agency will gather information for multiple forms from the birth mothers, birth families and medical history of potential adoptees.

Post Placement Support – Guidance – Monitoring – Reports: When the Agency provides Agency placements and inter-country Home Studies, families will be required to have a minimum of four (4) post placement visits.  Post Placement supervision is a valuable tool for a successful adoption. This ensures progress to good bonding, addresses specific issues of the children and many times will prevent disruptions and dissolution of adoption.

Child Placement: St. Nick’s Kids, Inc. will have an Infant Waiting Families Program. St. Nick’s Kids, Inc. will assist in additional child placement programs such as Directed Agency Placements, ICPC and domestic placements to and from other agencies.
